Training, mobilization, coaching, and coalition-building — everything the Church needs to launch and sustain afterschool ministry.
Afterschool as Mission™ offers workshops and curriculum that teach churches how afterschool programs can serve as outreach and evangelism vehicles in under-resourced communities. We inspire congregations to get involved — through praying, giving, going, and sending.
AAM also serves as a lead point of contact between local churches and OST programs, providing training, resourcing, and coaching to inspire cooperative mission efforts.
AAM delivers high-quality training and professional development for staff of churches and Christian nonprofits. Our courses cover everything from instructional best practices to spiritual formation, trauma care, and ministry leadership.
Training is delivered in-person and — beginning in Year 2 — through online modules as well, making it accessible to leaders across the country. Year 1 courses will be piloted at Dallas Leadership Foundation.

The Christian Out-of-School-Time (COST) Leadership Cohort is a signature program hosted at Dallas Leadership Foundation. It brings together leaders of Christian afterschool organizations for cohort-based learning, peer collaboration, and leadership development.
Launching in Year 1 with an initial cohort, the program will grow into a full certification program — the COST Leadership Institute — in Year 3, with potential seminary partnerships for academic credit.
We are actively recruiting founding cohort members. If you lead a Christian afterschool, mentoring, or youth ministry organization and want to grow as a leader, this cohort is for you.
